Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 32

I downloaded the Swift To-Do List Lite two days ago and am using it and have played with it a bit. It\'s very user friendly and easy to figure out. I had an old to-do list program that I couldn\'t use on my new computer, so I was looking for something new. This actually works better than my old one and you can\'t beat the price, free. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.

The application loaded easily and I was able to enter tasks without any difficulties. The user interface is clear and it seems like an effective tool. The only negative is that the application is acting a bit buggy. It has begun hanging and I have to end it from the task manager which results in messages that the "data is corrupt". I try to repair it and it is not successful, which causes a runtime error. Seems like it could be a useful application if I could keep it running.

Warning: date() [function.date]: It is not safe to rely on the system's timezone settings. You are *required* to use the date.timezone setting or the date_default_timezone_set() function. In case you used any of those methods and you are still getting this warning, you most likely misspelled the timezone identifier. We selected 'America/Chicago' for 'CDT/-5.0/DST' instead in /backup/qa/www/sub/rss/product.php on line 46

I was looking for an inexpensive to-do list program with reminders to help keep me focused on what needed to get done. Your product had the right price (FREE) and after using it, I am wanting to upgrade to the full deal, but the pricing will probably keep me from doing that
for the time being. With the lite version, it does all I expected it to and more and will suffice for now. But as my tasks increase, I'm sure I'll be looking to upgrade and hopefully finances will improve to allow me to do that.
Thanks for a great little program!

I downloaded this program because I needed a desktop to do list just at work (I have a Palm Pilot which I use for all my personal tasks). I am very pleased with the program. I've got files for each of my work projects and I like that I can order the tasks in each category by date due and that when you click on a task, the note associated with the task shows at the bottom of the screen so it's very handy. It's also very easy to set up the tasks and to edit them.

Swift To-Do lite is great. They only thing I would like to see is the ability to nest items and then force the order of entered items. For instance, I need to "A" and "B" but to complete "A" I need to do "1", "2", and "3" first. With that ability I would use it for most of my projects instead of MS Project type programs. I generally do not need the ability to track resources or view elaborate charts or most of the other things Project can do. I just have a list of tasks (some with sub-tasks) and an order I need them done in. The fact that the printed output from Swift To-Do provides an actual check box, makes it even more perfect.
